The Great Ellis Bake Off for Macmillan Cancer Support took place at lunchtime on Thursday the 22^nd of September in the Learning Resource Centre. House Leaders and students manned the colourfully decorated cake-laden tables representing Burgh, Fenton, Keats, Lauderdale and Willow.

There was a long queue for the whole of lunch and students filtered in to the lively bake sale purchasing brownies, jam tarts, cupcakes and slices of cake for charity. A particularly impressive offering was a bright yellow iced cake of a smiling emoji face and a triple layer chocolate cake made to look like a giant Oreo. The winning School house and final tally of money raised for Macmillan will be announced next week.   nter some content for your news story here.
