Year 9 Science Exams
As per the options evening, the Year 9 Science exams are important as they will decide setting in Year 10 and affect GCSE entries.
To be considered for Triple Award Science at GCSE, we require that the end of key-stage 3 science assessment be a minimum of level 7 based upon both the examination and teacher assessment.
The examination
You need to revise everything we have covered from year 7, 8 and 9 science lessons ie key-stage 3 science.
You will have a written test - two papers, 1 hour each
You may wish to purchase a KS3 science revision book to help revision
You are revising the main topics and skills at present in your science lessons
Use all the materials your teachers have supplied
