Drama
“Theatre is life, life is theatre"
If you think the Department has a long name, you need to know the difference between drama and theatre.
Drama is the process in which writers, performers, directors and designers explore ideas, issues and feelings using language, movement and space.
Theatre is the outcome of the drama process, the performance that is experienced by the audience.
We describe our work as 'a process in which issues and feelings are communicated to an audience using language, movement and space'.
There are many opportunities for boys to get involved in performance projects outside of the normal curriculum.
