We would like to commend the students for their maturity, resilience, and persistence through two and a half years of disruption and this can be seen in their individual stories of achievement and progress. All students who began Year 10 at William Ellis continued to attend the school and sat their GCSEs here. We are especially pleased to see continued improvement in our English results.

The students’ conduct through the exams was exemplary, showing a positive mentality and supporting their peers – it has been a privilege to see them set this example to younger students. I would especially like to thank our staff and the students’ families for the consistent support and guidance they have provided to them, with dedication and commitment through this period. For the whole community, it has been a real team effort and we should all be very proud of everyone involved.

All of our students have achieved their grades in challenging facilitating subjects - English Language, English Literature, Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, French, German, History, Geography, Art and Music, with the addition this year of PE, Drama and Food Technology.
