Full Time – All year round

PO2/PO3 - £36,618 to £42,609 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

William Ellis School is a boys’ school with a large mixed sixth form in the north of Camden. It is in an attractive site on the edge of Hampstead Heath with excellent access to Central London.  It is a neighbourhood of great social and cultural diversity, and this diversity is very well represented and celebrated at William Ellis. We educate some very able young people alongside a considerable number who are significantly disadvantaged.

We are looking for an exceptional Finance Manager who has the necessary skills and personal qualities to contribute to the strategic vision and leadership of the finance function within this forward-looking and successful school.

This is a great opportunity for someone to join the staff at William Ellis School and support the Director of Operations in the delivery of the school’s strategic and operational plans. This is a key post in the school’s support team. You will be responsible for the preparation and management of all financial accounts, statutory reporting and returns, and payroll for the school.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and an attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently, use own initiative and work under pressure. The nature of the work may sometimes involve the post holder carrying out work outside of normal working hours and the school would require flexibility.

We would be open to applicants who are interested in flexible working.

Closing date: 9.00am Tuesday 2nd February 2021
