Year 9 is a very important year in your son’s education. This is because in the second half of the year your son will choose the subjects that he will study in Year 10 and Year 11. Furthermore, these choices that he makes can influence the direction he takes in the future. This can seem a daunting task so the school will give you lots of information and advice to help your son make the right decisions.

Choosing GCSE Options

Year 9 students choose their GCSE Options in March and are families are invited to an evening event to help them to make their choices before the options deadline.
