Applications are invited from enthusiastic and highly capable teachers to either start or develop their career in a school which places good quality teaching and learning as its highest priority.
You would be joining the well-established and successful Language Department and would be required to teach at least one language up to KS5 (preferably German), as well as either French or Spanish up to KS4. The ability to teach a non-European language would also be desirable, but not essential. All students learn French from Year 7 and then some can learn a second foreign language in Year 8. We have a strong double linguists programme with excellent results. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, vision, resilience and strong interpersonal skills. The Languages department is a centre of excellence at William Ellis School and you would be joining a strong, committed team.
